In case anyone is interested in a 2027 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 over one of the EV/PHEV deals posted on OzBargain.

Previously $336,000 but now reduced to $299,990 (plus on roads).

The Z06 uses a 5.5-litre naturally aspirated V8 producing 475kW at 8550rpm and 595Nm at 6300rpm, driving the rear wheels through an eight-speed dual-clutch gearbox for a 0–100km/h claim of 3.0sec.

"The Chevrolet Corvette Z06 has scored a big price cut for Model Year 2027, its new $299,990 plus on-road costs sticker a substantial $36,100 lower than before. However, it will now be built to order, with customers able to choose from new colours, wheel designs and carbon-fibre design elements, as well as the Z07 Performance Package. Customer orders can be taken now, with production starting in January 2027."

With the $36,010.00 savings you can get a BYD Atto 2 PHEV as a daily and use the Corvette for the weekend and still have spare change.
