I'm the owner of TapLife — posting my own deal, declaring it upfront. It's a bargain as I don't think it's possible to find a plumber at these prices, one that's licensed and insured.
I'm a licensed Sydney plumber (NSW Lic. 498555C). $149 to install a tap — kitchen, basin, laundry, mixers. That's the whole job, not a call-out fee: old tap off and taken away, new one fitted, new connections where needed, leak tested, area cleaned up.
No call-out fee, no hourly rate, no minimum spend, no weekend surcharge.

More than one? Every extra tap in the same visit is $50, because I'm already there. Four taps = $149 + $50 + $50 + $50 = $299 labour for the lot.
How it works: pick your tap, pick your day and a morning or afternoon window at checkout. You pay nothing up front — settle up once it's installed and working. Card and Afterpay available if you'd rather pay first.
Fine print, honestly:
- Sydney metro only. Postcode checked at checkout — if I can't reach you, the order won't go through.
- $149 is a standard like-for-like swap. Corroded pipework or a seized isolating valve, I'll quote you before touching anything. Nothing extra without your say-so.
- Someone 18+ home for the visit.
- 12-month workmanship warranty from me; manufacturer warranty on the product and I'll handle that claim for you.
- Why it's this cheap: no shopfront, no admin staff, no lead-gen middleman taking a cut. I buy tapware retail like anyone else and make my money doing * the job properly and quickly.
DIY tap installation isn't legal in NSW and can void your home insurance if it leaks — every install here is done under my licence.
