Found the TCL Tab 10L Gen 3 tablet down to just $39 on clearance at Woolworths. The RRP is usually at $179, making it a cracking cheap option if you just need a basic media consumption tablet or something cheap for the kids if you skip the Telstra sim card and use it on Wifi only.

It is standard Woolies clearance territory, so stock will heavily vary by store and included Sim might be expired. Definitely a YMMV deal, but worth checking your local store's electronics/mobile cage if you are nearby.
