MG4 EV Urban from $31,990 + $500 Accessory Package or Discount + 10 Years (Dealer Servicing) or 250k Km Warranty @ MG
Looks like MG has quietly put together one of the best value EV deals in Australia at the moment. Test drove one myself and ended up ordering the 54kWh option. 6 week wait for stock. Went with MG cause it has a large dealer network in WA and its a brand that has been here for a while rather then pop up in the last 2 or so years
The new MG4 Urban is now one of Australia’s cheapest new electric car, starting from $31,990 drive away, and both Urban variants currently come with a $500 accessories bonus.

• 43kWh LFP battery
• Around 350km WLTP range
• Vehicle to Load (V2L) capability
• Apple CarPlay and Android Auto
• 17” alloy wheels
Urban 54 Highlights
• Larger 54kWh LFP battery
• Around 435km WLTP range
• Same Urban styling and equipment, with the extra range for road trips or less frequent charging.
Why It’s Worth a Look
• Currently the cheapest new EV on the Australian market.
• Uses LFP batteries, which are generally regarded as durable and can comfortably be charged to 100% regularly.
• 10 Year / 250,000km warranty.
• Practical hatchback with decent boot space.
At this price point, it’s getting hard to find anything that offers this combination of range, warranty and equipment. Even many comparable petrol hatchbacks are now in the same price bracket.
