Tesla Model 3 & Model Y: 5-Year Unlimited km Vehicle Warranty & Roadside Assistance (Private Use, was 4yr/80,000km) @ Tesla
Tesla has upgraded the Basic Vehicle Limited Warranty for new Model 3 and Model Y to 5 years with unlimited kilometres (private passenger use) for vehicles delivered from 1 January 2026. This replaces the previous 4 years / 80,000 km coverage and includes 5 years of roadside assistance.
Key Details of the New 2026 Warranty:
Duration: 5 years (up from 4 years).
Kilometres: Unlimited for private use (up from 80,000 km).
Eligibility: All new Model 3 and Model Y vehicles delivered from January 1, 2026.
Roadside Assistance: Also extended to 5 years (24/7 nationwide).
Coverage Includes: Major vehicle systems, paint durability, corrosion protection, and the multimedia/infotainment system.
The main warranty support page hasn't fully updated yet, but the order pages now reference the new 5-year terms, and it's officially confirmed via customer emails and Tesla's announcement.
