Free Year of OnePass with HCF Starter Extra ~$9.18/Fortnight (Must Not Have Held a HCF Policy in 6 Months Prior) @ HCF x Flybuys

Ok, this is a bit of a weird one that I have come across and I managed to pull off in line with the Terms and Conditions of the offer.(corporate.hcf.com.au) However, this is at your own risk, as always, so be aware.

So I signed up for HCF’s Starter Extras cover — it’s only about $9.18 with fortnightly payments (State: Victoria, under 65 etc) just to get the free OnePass membership that’s worth $40. According to the T&Cs, any extras-only policy counts as an “eligible” one, so I’m good there. I also made sure to put in my Flybuys number during sign-up.

Now you just wait for the OnePass code, which should arrive by email from Flybuys within 10 days of the policy starting. Once you get it, redeem it for a full year of OnePass, and then just cancel the policy before the next payment’s due or within the 30-day cooling-off period. As long as you don’t make a claim, you should even get a refund.

So yeah — if you followed the rules, and if all goes to plan, you'll walk away with a free OnePass membership for next to nothing.

Of course, there is a chance they'll go and cancel the subscriptions of those who left HCF, but of course, this process should be entirely free, so there is no need to stress.
